The light requires some extra spacing above and is ideal for attics. Regardless of its tricky installation nature it can be used in apartments and multi-storey house.
How to set it up?
Step 1: Switch off the power
Always remember this while working with electrical equipment.
Step 2: Location for installation
Check the area of installation and see if it is free from obstructions. All models come with design specific instructions regarding area of installation.
Step 3: Create Custom Installation Space
Templates are provided with each fixture and these are custom made. They are used to trace the lighting’s outline on to the ceiling. Cut out the hole when done.
Step 4: Cable Installation
Plant the new cable between the switch box and hole. If the area is congested then use a thin steel wire to push through from one end to the other and tie the wire at the socket end.
Step 5: Install Outer
Secure the outer unit of the light according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
Final Step: Install Body to finish
The final step is placing the body of the light correctly and you’re good to go with your new source of light.
